Nice, but...

It's some kinda desent sounds, you could find better. And the guitar thing gets totally out off rythem at 1:16. There could be some improvements. But just keep trying. :)

Syniphas responds:

Actually, I see your point, but the guitar doesn't change at all through the entire song, only the lead gets some effects applied to, and I added another drum machine and bass, but yeah, the guitar sounds a little off with all that.

There could be lots of improvements.

You really should make some fill-ins and fade-outs or bridges or stuff. And it like it's randomized, (first some bass, then instantly, a guitar.) You really should put in effects in to. There really could be some improvements you have to think about.
But hey, nice try. :)

JPLaro responds:

this is random stuff trown out

Nice,

Pretty neat melodies and stuff. The whistle that starts at 0:10 kinda hurts in my ears. That almost the only thing that hurts the song.

Tigerfrog responds:

On my speakers this instrument almost sounded too loud and piercing, but then again I also wanted it to stand out, so I let it slide.

Relaxing...

Just what i needed after stressing day...
I like it, but it's still kinda repettive, not much, but it almost the same melody all the way though. But nothing to worry about i think. :)

alnajuum responds:

Sitting in the car is definitely kinda repetitive :)

Good stuff again!

Some of the synths got to low in volume at some parts. I don't know, there's just some points where it gets to many effects. I actully think you overworked on this one. But still a great job! Keep it up!

Philosophadam responds:

Thanks; that's fair enough. It's definitely an effects-intensive track. I'm working on a new song called "Remembrance" that I think finds a better balance between musical structure and transitional effects. :)

...

You almost made fall asleep of good sound!! You deserve the score you got!
Just gotta get faved!!! Seriously! You're the master of effects! Gotta get faved!

Philosophadam responds:

Thanks! :)

You seem to get it right all the time! Effects, synths, drums, Everything. And you like playing around with Sytrus presets, right? :P (that's ok, i do it myself. XD)

Oh, you want to hear what i think of it as a vision?

At some points it feels like i'm into the ocean at some strange plants and stuff. :P

I really like this one! Keep it up damn it! >XC

Philosophadam responds:

Thanks! I like your vision of the song, and can see it working quite nicely. I love to hear how people visualize music; it's amazing how our associating minds find such different scenes in the same songs.

I had in mind a vast, sweeping landscape, and almost like a plane ride panning over it from above.

Thanks again!

Awesome, once again.

Again, the start could be better, but intros sure is a hard thing to make. Everything else fits amazing.

A song of few words. Keep it up!

Philosophadam responds:

Thanks! Intros have never been my strong point. ;)

Amazing,

The start could be better, a bit annoying. The rest is great! You're clearly better then me when it gets to effects and such! :P

Philosophadam responds:

Thanks! I know what you mean about the beginning. With this song, I was trying to blend as many genres as possible, so I wanted to include an ambient section that created a a mood. I think that sometimes having to wait for the music to come in can make it that much more enjoyable when it does. This is a lesson I learned from the Mars Volta and from Led Zeppelin's long jam sessions, which frequently havefeature prolonged sections of ambient noise.
