damn, the amount of detail put into the details of this is amazing.

Reminds me of Boards of Canada - The Devil is in the Details

Kingbastard responds:

Thank you. I appreciate you taking the time to listen.

has a good build-up, good pacing and very interesting chords. Well done! :)

50Steaks responds:

Thanks! I do like the chords as well. While making this I decided against a real end to the first drop, opting for a slow decline and then an explosion to tell a better story.

the start gives me Chaoz Japan vibes, as time went, it became very Kingdom Hearts battle theme'esque, I love it. :D

MassiveMarioLuigi700 responds:

Why thank you!

some interesting arp'ing going on. Lots of different mood-changes, keep it up. :D

enipoint responds:

:) thx

this is super chill. ✨

floorboardofficial responds:

Thanks!

I love that guitar riff from the start! The vocals sounds great,
the bass coming up after that hits like a dream, well done!

floorboardofficial responds:

Thanks for the feedback! I'm definitely glad to hear that the bass had the desired effect on you.

0:00 - intro is chill and clear, sets the mood nice.
0:18 - personally, I believe some mellow synths to go in harmony with the synth stabs here would do wonders.
0:36 - boom. that's a transition if I've ever heard a good one. this section is filled with leads and harmonics in different synths and a rhythm that gets your head bopping. A little more in the bass section to ground it more would make it top-notch.
1:14 - nice use of sidechain here, good mood/build-up.
1:31 - watch out to not have too many things going at once, regardless of how great they sound together. I hear the reverb smearing over the rest of the mix a bit too much here, in my opinion.

too many things will smear it all together, and makes the listener unsure what to focus on.
right here, it's 𝘢𝘭𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 an issue, either equalize it a little better, lower the reverb or consider removing something to make the rest stand out a bit more.
2:08 - almost a bit too little going on here, add a little sprinkle of something harmonic somewhere in the high mids of the EQ and you're golden.
2:23 - 𝘺𝘦𝘴.
2:26 - same as 1:31
3:03 - playing a muffled down bassline here slowly fading out with the lead would ground this nice outro a bit better, too bad that it stops abruptly like that as well.

take everything written with a grain of salt, they're merely suggestions on how to improve it.
it sounds great as is, keep up the great work. 👊

Ditchy responds:

Happy with it all mate. Thank you.

You have a lovely voice, please don't stop preaching it, hhhh
I would be to increase the trebles/highs in the voice a slight tad to make the S's/T's, etc. a bit more clear.

I also suggest that you increase the volume on the kick a notch, it's almost not noticable. I'd suggest looking up "Kick sidechaining", it helps on such an occation. :)

Lovely work, keep it up!

MyMonkeyMyCircus responds:

thanks buddy. appreciate the response. i can do so to the voice; i'm interested to hear about the S and Ts. cool that you heard that, i attacked them quite harshly and i wasn't sure if it was too much.

This is really marvelous, you definitely know your timings and chord choices, well done!

TheoryGuy responds:
