When I think of a 8-bit version of a town, I think of the early Pokémon soundtracks. Nice and relaxing basslines and pad'ish chords to back it up. ...I should stop stereotyping like that. :P

This bassline was the first thing that came into my mind when I listened to this.
It gives a great relaxed and joyful feeling, and what I can explain as "a sense of safety from the beyond".

I enjoy this track, and the everything seems mastered really nicely, and I can keep listening to this for a while without being annoyed, that has a factor as well, and you executed that out good here. :)

The only thing I noticed in this was that it doesn't loop totally perfectly. And since I know that Newgrounds loops loops perfectly, I know it has something to do with the project and how it was rendered. If anything fails, add an automation with no purpose at the end to fool the program to think that something will happen. ;P

GamekrazzyProduction responds:

yeah I am sure it's a rendering issue because it loops fine in OGG format while in game.. for some reason it like took off that split second when I exported it. I should probably be nice and fix that for my newgrounds listeners shouldn't I? ;P

This track has a very thrilling/adventurous feel, and gives that feeling straight from the start. Great for welcoming the player into the game.

Overall I think that the lead square are quite overruling the rest, and can become annoying in the long run, maybe tuneit down alittle, or/and play around with the sustain (shorten it?).

Not bad at all! Enjoying this one as well. o/

GamekrazzyProduction responds:

Glad you like it pal.

I simply love the rhythms you made for this, especially the rhythm you made at 0:58, that melody blends greatly into looping. The bass back it up great as well.

I'm sorry, but I'm gonna agree with the guys under me as well, a better percussion could be needed.
But I actually got a solution for it:
Instead of setting the snare on even beats, and hats on offbeats, then swag them around. I'm sure that would give a more battle'ish feel.

Else I suggest searching for some 8-bit percussion, and still try to keep the "4 instruments only" rule.

I'm loving this, I'm looking greatly up to your project!

GamekrazzyProduction responds:

Thanks pal, I still feel it is fine where it is at, however I suppose I can look into *swapping the percussion around a bit.

I stll come back to listen to this sometimes. I really like it, don't judge me!!

This is amazing. The intro sets the atmusphere, and tells you what to expect, in a good way.

0:52: The intro and the fx in the background build greatly up to this point. This point sets a bookmark, where the expectations resets, and makes the listener more curious about the song.
1:29: I like the arp patterns and how they harmonize so nicely. This is great.

Generally, you've been able to throw so much feeling and atmusphere into a song, that's really something.

GamekrazzyProduction responds:

Why thanks pal! I am glad you like it!

You're great at getting these retro feels right!

There's a great harmony between the lead melody and the background melodies, and this is great, since back then, the 8-bit artists had nothing but these 8-bit sounds to go from, so they had to make the melodies count. And you're showing that out greatly with this loop!

Keep up the great work!

GamekrazzyProduction responds:

Thanks Pal!

I really like the melody at 1,30, pretty groovy. Overall, nice synth choices and a fine beat to mi it all up. Keep up the good work. :)

This was a pleasure listening to.
You set the atmosphere like a real pro, and keeps the listener interested through the whole piece. I don't have much to say about this, since you got this executed just right. Keep it up!

TitanMusic responds:

Thanks for the kind words!

You've done a really great job on this one, the orchestral part is really beautiful, and I enjoyed listening to that. After 1:39 it sounds too distorted, this drags it down alittle, but this is long from a bad cinematic, you've done a great job.

Keep up the good work. :)

TitanMusic responds:

Thanks for the review. Yeah I was a bit skeptical about after 1:39 but it sounded cool through my shitty head phones so I just hoped it would be worth uploading. I will probably work on this song again in the future.

You sure seem to have been playing around with this one. Sounds very interesting, and I enjoying listening. Keep on experimenting, it's the way of producing!

Forsiller responds:

Hey! Pal!
How've you been ;)
I'm glad to hear you enjoy it
